Product Safety Audit and Surveillance Plan: Trailer Manufacturers To Be Inspected by Competent Authorities!
General Directorate of Security has reported that some agricultural trailers did not meet the relevant administrative and technical requirements specified in the traffic legislation. In order to ensure traffic safety, trailer manufacturers will be inspected in 2021 in accordance with the “Product Safety Inspection and Surveillance Plan” of the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
Type approval will become compulsory for trailers to apply for traffic registration. Trailer-makers that do not comply with technical standards, may be subject to some administrative sanctions (fines, recalling products from the market, etc.) by the Ministry.
