TARMAKBİR officially joins ReCAMA to represent Turkish Agriculture Machinery in Asia-Pacific Region
TARMAKBİR officially joined the Regional Council of Agricultural Machinery Associations in Asia and the Pacific (ReCAMA) by adoption of the Council's current members during the 3rd Member Meeting of ReCAMA, which took place on 27 October 2017 in Wuhan, China. Now the voice of Turkish agriculture machinery industry is being pronounced in the Asia & Pacific Region of the world as well.
Being a member to CEMA European Agriculture Machinery Association and AGRIEVOLUTION Global Alliance for Agriculture Machinery Manufacturing Associations, TARMAKBİR is now a member to ReCAMA the Regional Council of Agricultural Machinery Associations in Asia and the Pacific. Turkish agriculture machinery industry will have the opportunity to create business collaborations and knowledge sharing within the Region by the favor of this membership. Asia & Pacific countries have fertile lands though mechanization and agricultural productivity have not yet been at satisfactory levels.
Apart from the 3rd Member Meeting of ReCAMA, TARMAKBİR also participated in the 3rd Training & Study Tour for Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers and Distributors of ReCAMA that took place from 18-28 October in China. In the context of this tour, manufacturing plants of several Chinese ag machinery manufacturers visited and training meetings on precision farming held.
ReCAMA is an umbrella organization spesifically for the Asia & Pacific region, and it aimes to promote sustainable and productive agriculture and utilization of agriculture machinery by strengthening the capacity of national agricultural machinery associations, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and information, and enhancing collaboration and closer business connection among its members and relevant 3rd parties. ReCAMA was established in 2014 in China, and since then it organizes annual Member Meetings and Training & Study Tours for its members in one of its member countries. ReCAMA currently has 16 member associations from 13 Asia & Pacific countries, namely Bangladesh, Mongolia, China, India, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Russian Federation, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam. ReCAMA is an initiative of CSAM Center of Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization of United Nations ESCAP.
